This class discusses how to respond to an emergency situation and how to apply First Aid when needed. It is a hands-on learning session to promote best practices while faced with helping a person that is injured or choking.
- Training must be completed in order to meet the training requirements per DHS 83.
- Basic First Aid, including handling or how to handle bleeding episodes, seizures, cardiac and breathing emergencies, heat or cold overexposure, and soft tissue and joint injuries.
- Choking maneuver.
PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of five attendees are required to hold the class. Refunds are only available up to 7 days prior to the course date.
