You can make a difference in preventing the spread of flu in our community by getting vaccinated. It’s best to get a jump on flu season by getting your flu shot now!
Influenza “the flu” is a serious respiratory virus that can cause painful headaches, sore throats, body aches, fever and lack of energy. For most of us it is a few days in bed, but for some the virus can be more dangerous, even life-threatening. The most common complication is pneumonia, a real threat for the elderly and those with a compromised immune system.
Flu season typically lasts from October through spring; your first line of protection is always your annual flu shot.
We are giving flu shots at our office this year, Monday – Thursday, 10am – 3pm. No appointment is needed; masks are required. We have FluAD High Dose Quadivalent for ages 65 and up, and FluZone Quadrivalent for ages 5 and up. If you have questions about insurance coverage and cost, please call our office (262) 656-8400.
